Antlia LRGB Filter Set 36mm
Antlia LRGB series is a color filter specially designed for deep space photography of black and white cameras.
We use Kodak (KAF / KAI series), Sony (IMX series) and (CCD and CMOS) GSENSE series (this is also the chip used by mainstream astronomy cameras today), designed this filter based on the sensitivity of the chip, you can match this set of filters to 1: 1 RGB exposure, and finally In the post-production process, it is easier to obtain images with more natural color saturation.
Because the LRGB-V series emphasizes filtering light damage, we also emphasize the high transmittance of the emission lines. Therefore, the weak emission lines unique to galaxies and nebulae still have a good emphasis. We guarantee the high transmission of the OIII band in the B and G filters;
The design of the LRGB-V series filters the wavelength band near the light damage point of 589nm, which effectively filters out the influence of urban sodium / mercury lamps, making its later colors more natural.
Main purpose and performance
- It is mainly used with black and white camera CCD and CMOS.
- Suitable for shooting deep space objects, nebulae, galaxies
- The transmittance of> 95% ensures a sufficiently high light flux.
- AR anti-reflection film design to reduce secondary reflection and halo
- The design of RGB is almost 1: 1, which makes the color more balanced and natural.
- In the production process, we use the most stringent quality control standards, use the same thickness of the substrate, and have strict tolerance requirements.
- We apply optical extinction around each filter and apply extinction ink, each of which is performed manually. This process takes a lot of time and effort to keep stray light to a minimum. Because he handles it by hand.
- This filter is not recommended to look at deep-sky objects.
- This filter is not suitable for observing and photographing the sun.
Technical details
- Transmittace >95% guaranteed
- AR anti-reflection film design to reduce secondary reflection and halo generation
- RGB’s nearly 1:1:1 design makes the color more balanced, naturally
- In the production process, we use the most stringent quality control standards, use the same thickness of the substrate, and have strict tolerance requirements, so the LRGB filter is equal.
- We optically extinction the perimeter of each filter, applying a dark matting ink, each one is hand-operated. Controlling stray light to a minimum extent, this process takes a lot of time and effort, because it is purely manual.
- These filters are not recommended for visual observation of deep space objects.
- These filters are not suitable for observing and photographing the sun.
