Exceptional low-light performance SNR1s: 0.14lx
This is achieved by using a large optical system and expanding the area per pixel to 3.76 microns; which makes the IMX571CJK sensor ideal for astronomical applications where high performance is required even at low illumination.
SONY 26.0MP sensor with 28.3 mm diagonal
The SONY IMX571 sensor has a diagonal of 28.3 mm and 3.76x3.76 micron pixels, the APS-C format is a new, even more performing sensor, with 26MP and a resolution of 6248x4176.
With this sensor it is possible to photograph an entire cluster of galaxies and show the details of each one at the same time!
The chamber also features dual-stage TEC Cooling with a thermal delta equal to 35° real degrees.
USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 HUB connection
The fast USB3 connection allows you to download the large files generated by the camera very quickly, downloading a full resolution shot will be practically immediate with a notable saving of time even during focusing.
You can get 6.8 fps at 6224x4168 pixels and up to 63fps at 2064x1386 pixels
The rear USB 2.0 HUB can accommodate two peripherals (filter wheel, auto-guiding camera, electric focuser), greatly simplifying wiring.
Technical features:
- Double-stage regulation with thermal delta of 35° compared to the environment
- Electronic shutter: no vibration
- Extremely low read noise: 1.0e @24db gain 3.3e @lowest gain
- 16bit ADC: provide real 16bit Dynamic range
- USB 3.0: Ultra-high frame download speed, avoids data loss during download
- USB 2.0 HUB: Double USB 2.0 port useful for connecting the driving camera
- Window with coated IR filter
How do spies work?
The camera is equipped with four indicator lights on the back with four different acronyms:
PWR= Verifies the correct power supply to the camera
Sys= Check the connection of the camera to the PC
Tec= Check the operation of the Peltier cooling
Fan= Check the operation of the cooling fan
512MB DDR3 internal memory so you don't miss any frames!
Thanks to the brand new 512MB DDR3 internal memory you will not lose any information even via the USB 2.0 outputs!
FULL WELL HUGE CAPACITY!
The new ToupTek 571C-PRO is capable of reaching a Full Well Capacity of 51000e real!
Even bright stars do not saturate with long exposures!
16 Bit CMOS
The new ToupTek 571C-PRO is equipped with a 16bit Sony CMOS sensor, thanks to this new technology we obtain a better dynamic range scale with 65535 color levels
AMP Glow? No thank you!
Unlike other cameras on the market, the ToupTek 571C-PRO has completely eliminated any kind of AMP Glow of the sensor
Anti-condensation system integrated in the chamber
Full Well Capacity and Dynamic Range
Binning: The ToupTek 571 Color offers software binning from 1x1 to 8x8 with the sum or averaging method, as well as hardware binning from 1x1 to 3x3 available with the averaging method.
Conversion Gain: The camera supports two conversion gain modes: HCG (High Conversion Gain) and LCG (Low Conversion Gain), with a gain conversion ratio of 3.01.
Full Well Capacity: Electrons are held in each pixel and converted into electrical charge, which can be measured to represent the amount of light incident on each pixel. The maximum electrical charge capacity, defined as "Full Well Capacity", affects the width of the sensor's dynamic range. The ToupTek 571 Colore PRO features an excellent Full Well capacity of 51ke.
Dynamic Range: Dynamic range is the ratio between the maximum level of the output signal and the noise floor at the minimum amplification signal. Dynamic Range indicates the camera's ability to capture and reproduce both the brightest and darkest parts of an image, along with variations in between. The Dynamic Range of the ToupTek 571C-PRO in low gain mode is 86.8 dB.
Dimensions:
Achieving the backfocus of 55mm is very simple, in fact it will be enough to use the two extensions supplied of 21mm and 16.5mm keeping in mind that the backfocus of the camera is equal to 17.5mm
