Artesky Losmandy Dovetail Plate 200mm V2
The Losmandy 200mm Artesky plate has been designed to allow you to install your instruments on mounts equipped with this attachment.
The plate is 200mm long and is useful for installing small telescopes, such as refractors up to 100mm in diameter or Newtonian telescopes up to 150mm in diameter, on mounts equipped with Losmandy attachment such as the iOptron, GEM45 or CEM70 or CEM120 or the Skywatcher EQ6 -R, AZEQ6 or EQ8
The Losmandy 200 Artesky plate is equipped with a central milling and several holes to allow you to easily mount it on any accessory such as rings, guide rings, clamps or a telescope, even from other brands.
The Losmandy bar thickness is 14mm while the width is 110mm.
Deep anodizing
Artesky wanted to integrate in this new project a very deep type of anodizing of the plates (20 microns).
This product was created starting from aluminum blocks that are machined by high precision CNC machines, after which it is sandblasted to ensure a high quality surface finish and then anodized with deep anodization (also called hard anodization) to protect it from corrosion and increase the hardness of aluminum.
How can I use this accessory?
It is possible to install the Losmandy 200 Artesky plate under the support rings of the telescope to be able to connect it to mounts with Losmandy attachment and guarantee better precision and grip of the instrument itself.
It is possible to install the Losmandy 200 Artesky plate above the telescope rings to increase the rigidity of the structure and to be able to connect accessories such as clamps, guide rings, guide telescope, etc ...
It is possible to create a double plate when combined with two clamps
