Celestron Starsense Explorer 127 LT Newton
The new Celestron StarSense Explorer series of telescopes represents a new way of observing the night sky. A real revolution that finally becomes part of the Celestron brand product catalog.
To date, our catalog was composed of only two macro types of altazimuth instruments: manual and computerized NexStar +. With the new Star Sense Explorer series we have reinvented the way of practicing astronomy in the amateur world.
Forget about complicated star maps, inaccurate planetary apps and expensive computerized mounts. With Celestron Star Sense Explorer telescopes, finding celestial objects has never been easier and faster. Place your smartphone in the appropriate support on the mount and start the StarSense Explorer app. Once the smartphone is aligned with the telescope, a procedure that takes only a couple of minutes, you will have all the beauties of the night sky ready to be pointed. Once the desired object has been selected from those proposed and visible, it will be sufficient to follow the instructions on the screen of your smartphone by moving the telescope to center the celestial object, moon, planet, galaxy or nebula.
The StarsenseExplorer APP allows you to select the object to target from the list of visible ones. It will then show you the direction in which you will have to move in order to track it, zooming more and more until you are on target. Now you just have to look at it through the telescope's eyepiece. Unlike all the systems available on the market, including astronomical apps, the patented StarsenseExplorer system AUTOMATICALLY RECOGNIZES, through the brightest stars, the exact position of the telescope in the sky.
It will be sufficient to follow the instructions on the screen of your smartphone for exciting visions of the most beautiful celestial objects of the night sky. Even from the skies of the cities thanks to the generous diameter of the telescope you will have available for observation many of the most beautiful celestial objects of the night sky, including in addition to the planets and the Moon, also the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula and many star clusters visible from Earth.
In addition to the frame and the adjustable tripod with accessory tray, the instrument also includes an optical tube, two eyepieces, a red dot finder and a straightened image diagonal.
