Tube with Schmidt-Cassegrain optics corrected for diffraction limit and which allow to obtain clear images on a wide field of view. The Celestron C6 is a tool of great interest due to its great compactness and light weight combined with great optical performance. The C6 is suitable for universal use, both astronomical and terrestrial, both visual and photographic and belongs to the family of telescopes Schimdt-Cassegrain Celestron, which are among the most modular astronomical instruments that exist, being able to work optimally in ranges of focal lengths very large, making them usable with satisfaction in a wide range of applications, both astronomical and terrestrial. The optics are treated with the XLT coating with high luminous efficiency.
Includes battery compartment (for 8 AA batteries not included), NexStar + control panel upgradeable via web, with easy SkyAlign alignment function and database of over 40,000 celestial objects.
Includes Celestron's Starry Night Special Software Edition software and of course free and available for download at Celestron SkyPortal App (downloadable from App Store or Google Play).
