The EAntenna 70MOX is an extremely compact directive antenna specifically designed for the 4-meter band (70 MHz). Thanks to its Moxon element geometry, it delivers excellent electrical performance in a very small physical footprint, while remaining easy to install.
Moxon Design: High Performance in a Small Space
The Moxon configuration allows a very short boom length while achieving an excellent front-to-back ratio exceeding 30 dB and a wide usable bandwidth. This makes the 70MOX an ideal solution for installations with limited space that still require true directive radiation characteristics.
Direct 50-Ohm Feed, No Balun Required
The antenna is designed with a native 50-ohm impedance, allowing the coaxial feedline to be connected directly to the driven element. A balun is not required, eliminating additional losses and improving overall system efficiency.
Ideal for Portable Operation and DX Expeditions
With its low weight and compact mechanical design, the EAntenna 70MOX is perfectly suited for portable operation, holiday use, and DXpeditions. Its small transport size significantly simplifies shipping and field deployment.
