The Falkos Square Loop is a directional VHF/UHF dual-band loop antenna designed for base station installations and amateur radio applications requiring compact size, robustness, and reliable directional performance. The half-wave dipole configuration provides a clean radiation pattern and effective rejection of unwanted signals.
Performance on VHF and UHF bands
The antenna operates in the 144–150 MHz VHF band and the 400–470 MHz UHF band, offering a gain of 4 dBi on VHF and 5 dBi on UHF. It is well suited for local and regional communications, delivering efficient performance in both transmit and receive modes.
Compact design and high power handling
With a maximum power handling of 800 W PEP, the Falkos Square Loop is suitable for high-power stations. The SO-239 connector allows easy connection to standard coaxial cables. Its compact dimensions of 28 × 28 cm and low weight make installation straightforward, even in limited spaces. The black painted finish provides additional protection against environmental exposure.
