The antenna operates over a 7 to 30 MHz frequency range, covering the most important HF amateur radio bands. Magnetic loop technology allows effective operation even in space-constrained environments while offering improved noise rejection compared to traditional wire antennas.
Compact Size and Excellent Portability
With a 26.5-inch diameter, the Icom AL-705 is easy to transport and quick to deploy. It has been designed to be conveniently stored and carried inside the Icom LC-192 backpack, making it ideal for outdoor activities, portable operation, and travel.
Optimized for QRP Transceivers
The antenna supports a maximum power of 20 W, making it perfectly suited for QRP transceivers and portable HF radios. Connection is provided via a PL-259 connector, a widely used standard in amateur radio installations.
