Dual-band Mobile Transceiver VHF/UHF 50W

The IC-2730E is an analog dual-band VHF/UHF radio capable of simultaneous reception of VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, and VHF/UHF.

Independent tuning controls for each band make operation simple, intuitive, and fast.

Extremely compact and durable, the IC-2730E has passed rigorous testing and obtained MIL-STD-810G certification.

It is suitable for use as a mobile transceiver or as a fixed base radio.

The detachable front panel makes the IC-2730E versatile and highly appreciated.

The optional MBF-1 swivel base with suction cup and MBA-5 support bracket allow easy adjustment of the front panel’s tilt and rotation for perfect adaptation to mobile installations. The large suction cup can be mounted on dashboards or other flat surfaces and removed with ease.

Alternatively, with the optional MBA-4 bracket, the front panel can be connected directly to the main unit. The microphone jack is available on both the front panel and the main unit, allowing the microphone to be connected to either.

The high-brightness LCD display ensures clear and well-defined information, even in direct sunlight.

Additional features include automatic sub-band squelch, an audio alert for signals on the sub-band, automatic shutdown, over 1000 memory channels, CI-V remote control (requires OPC-478UC-1), optional Bluetooth®, and much more.
