The Icom IC-R15 is a portable analog wideband receiver designed for versatile radio monitoring and reliable everyday use. It covers a frequency range from 108 to 500 MHz, operates in AM and FM, and supports reception of FM broadcast stations as well as aeronautical bands.
Color Display and Intuitive Operation
The IC-R15 features a large color LCD display that provides clear, high-contrast visibility of characters and icons. The modern user interface, combined with backlit directional and function keys, ensures simple and immediate operation for both beginners and experienced listeners.
Dual Watch and Advanced Scanning
Thanks to the Dual Watch function, the IC-R15 can monitor two signals simultaneously. While receiving on Band A, it is possible to scan Band B at the same time. The receiver offers high-speed scanning up to 150 channels per second and provides 2000 regular memory channels along with dedicated scan memories.
Bluetooth, Recording and Connectivity
Built-in Bluetooth allows the use of compatible wireless accessories. The recording function supports simultaneous recording of two signals in WAV format onto a microSD card. Charging is handled via a USB-C port, and operating time reaches approximately 13 hours with the supplied battery.
Rugged and Reliable Design
Designed and built to high quality standards, the IC-R15 features an IPX7 protection rating, providing resistance against temporary immersion in water. This makes it suitable for portable use in demanding environments and ensures long-term reliability.
