The Proxel 6055-NFAR Digital (Noise Frequency Adjustment) is a high-efficiency switching power supply designed specifically for radio applications, with particular attention to HF radio communications. Compact, lightweight and high-performing, it is suitable for fixed stations where stable and reliable power delivery is essential.
Noise reduction in HF bands
During HF transmissions (2–30 MHz), background noise caused by the switching clock frequency can sometimes be present. The Proxel 6055-NFAR integrates the NFA – Noise Frequency Adjustment function, allowing the switching noise to be shifted away from the operating frequency, improving reception and transmission quality.
Voltage regulation and digital monitoring
The power supply provides an adjustable output voltage from 4 to 16 V with a maximum current of 50/55 A. The integrated digital display allows immediate monitoring of operating parameters, while the voltage preset function enables precise configuration before use.
Protection and operational safety
The Proxel 6055-NFAR includes automatic protection systems against overload and short circuit. If protection is triggered, voltage output is automatically interrupted. To reset the unit, switch it off using the on/off switch and turn it back on after approximately 2 minutes, ensuring safe operation for both the power supply and connected equipment.
