The Sirio Turbo 1000 Blue Line 27MHz is a mobile CB antenna designed for the 27 MHz citizens band, ideal for vehicle installations and mobile operation. With its base-loaded design and a length of 1150 mm, it provides an effective balance between compact size and solid RF performance.
Frequency Coverage and RF Performance
The antenna is tunable from 27 to 28.5 MHz, making it suitable for both CB radio and the 10-meter amateur radio band. The bandwidth ≥ 660 kHz at SWR ≤ 2 ensures efficient operation and good impedance matching across the working frequencies.
Construction and Materials
Built using copper, brass, 17/7 PH stainless steel, and nylon, the Turbo 1000 Blue Line offers durability and mechanical strength for long-term use. The vertical polarization and omnidirectional radiation pattern provide consistent signal coverage in all directions.
Installation and Operation
The antenna is designed for through-hole mounting, ensuring a stable and secure installation on vehicles. It includes a 4 m RG58 coaxial cable and features a DC-grounded design for static discharge protection.
