TS UNCN2M90 V-Power 2" Crayford Focuser for RC telescopes

The TSUNC2M90 is a high quality manufactured focuser for highest accuracy. It holds heavy accessories and is designed for astrophotography and demanding observation. The short length and the excellent craftmanship make this focuser one of the best in its class.

The advantages and features of the TSUNC2M90 focuser:

• Besides the 2" and 1.25" compression rings, the focuser also provides a male 65 mm thread for threaded adaptions. That is important mainly for astrophotography.
• With base, the focuser is only 91 mm heigh, thus you can reach the focus problem-free with any RC telescope.
• The focuser fits to all RC telescopes with the M90 connection thread and with the connection adapter to M117 (TSM117-M90) also to all larger RCs of at least 10" aperture.
• You can use the full extent of the drawtube travel of 30 mm with any RC.
• Strengthened ball bearings and a V2A stainless steel bearing surface offer maximum stiffness and full functionality even after many years of use where aluminium slowly rubs off.
• The 1:10 transmission has professional quality and consists also of V2A and hardened steel.
• Massive steel rails are integrated into the drawtube as counter bearing for the ball bearings for smooth operation.
• Drag can be adjusted by a friction screw. Locking the focuser becomes obsolete, as the focuser holds exectly the position which is set, even at high load. Nevertheless, a locking screw (knurled screw) is also provided.
• The steel parts and the gears are designed for long-term operation under high loads, in particular for astrophotography. The stainless steel ball bearings run on surfaces which are also made of stainless steel. Thus nothing can press into soft aluminium.
• The drawtube is provided with anti-reflex ridges for enhancing contrast.
• A cogwheel transmits the motion of the optional TSACUMOTORFOK motor focus. However, a friction clutch allows for manual operation. Power is transmitted through the dual speed gear, thus exact focusing also by motor is ensured.
