📡 Product Description
The Yaesu ATAS-120A is a vertical multiband mobile antenna for stationary or mobile use, designed for amateur radio operators. Thanks to its built-in motor, the antenna automatically adjusts the coil length to match the selected frequency. Typical SWR is ≤ 1.2:1, so no external tuner is required.
The antenna connects directly to compatible Yaesu transceivers using only the coaxial cable, which carries both the HF signal and tuning control.

- With MFJ-1925 control unit: compatible with other HF rigs

🏠 Installation & Applications
Ideal for use on vehicles (cars, RVs) or stationary setups (balconies, rooftops, terraces). The ATAS-120A is rugged and can be used while driving, provided it’s mounted on a solid PL base.
Note: A standard magnetic base is not sufficient for optimal coupling. Reinforced mounting accessories are recommended.
For stationary operation, radials are required as a counterpoise. In mobile use, the vehicle chassis acts as the counterpoise.
