The Yaesu FT-DX10 adopts the same YAESU Hybrid SDR configuration used in the FTDX101 series, combining a Narrow-Band SDR for exceptional receiver performance with a Direct Sampling SDR for real-time digital spectrum processing.
Narrow-Band SDR with Roofing Filters and Outstanding Multi-Signal Performance
Using a 9 MHz Down Conversion architecture, the FT-DX10 incorporates high-grade crystal roofing filters with a sharp “cliff-edge” shape factor. Available filter widths include 500 Hz, 3 kHz, and 12 kHz.
With its narrow-band SDR design, low-noise oscillator and optimized circuit configuration, the FT-DX10 achieves the following performance on 14 MHz with 2 kHz spacing:
- RMDR ≥ 116 dB
- BDR ≥ 141 dB
- 3rd IMDR ≥ 109 dB
250 MHz HRDDS – High Resolution Direct Digital Synthesizer
The FT-DX10 employs the same 250 MHz HRDDS local oscillator used in the FTDX101 series. With improved C/N characteristics and carefully selected components, phase noise reaches an excellent -145 dB or lower at 14 MHz with 2 kHz separation.
5" Full-Color Touch Display with 3DSS
The 5-inch TFT touch display supports 3DSS (3-Dimensional Spectrum Stream). Touching the frequency area opens the numeric keypad for direct entry. Frequency tuning can also be controlled via the MAIN dial or spectrum display. Display modes include Center, FIX and Cursor, similar to the FTDX101 series.
Front Panel Optimized for Operational Efficiency
The panel layout is engineered for intuitive operation. The MPVD (Multi-Purpose VFO Outer Dial) enables fast control of the Clarifier, Custom Select (C/S) function and memory channel recall.
Remote Operation via Optional SCU-LAN10
With the optional SCU-LAN10 LAN unit, the FT-DX10 can be operated remotely through a home network. The dedicated software also allows advanced oscilloscope and spectrum display views on larger screens.
